Getting "The document could not be Reader enabled" error

When I attempt to enable usage rights in Acrobat 8 Pro, I get an error message stating the document could not be Reader enabled. This doesn't give me much to go on - could someone give me some ideas as to why this might not be working? I created my form using LiveCycle Designer.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.1.2, Windows

Hi prichenburg,

See this thread- http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.3c05f557

At least one person solved this problem by copying the files to their local hard disk- are your files on your local hard disk?

Hope this helps,

Dimitri

Actually, I was on Acrobat 8.0 - I just updated to 8.1.0 and it miraculously solved the problem!

Thanks for your help!
