How to Eliminate Color When Printing Forms

Is there a way to eliminate form field colors (e.g. shadded boxes) when someone prints the form? I know a person can choose to print black and white only, but I want to make that option be the default so the form always prints in black and white. I tried changing the field properities to "invisable (print only)", but then, information typed in the box, didn't print either.

Suggestions?

I use form calc on the prePrint command

$.fillColor = "255, 255, 255"

R_Boyd: I'll try that.

I have also discovered that if you set "edit/preferences/highlight color", and you leave background color off (no color), than when a person opens a form, all the fields are highlighted, but the color doesn't show when they print the form.
