With Acrobat Standard you can use the 'template' but any users with Reader will not be able to use the forms. If those forms are being hosted on a web server, then there are some other things that can be done like transferinging the data between forms and loading a different form into the user's web browser.

I do have this form on the web. It is one form 10 pages long. It is a re-enrollment package and it is based on the number of children being enrolled. the last 2 pages are only required if you have an additional student. So I would like the user to only see the number of pages they need.

You have to use LiveCycle Designer included in the Professional version of Acrobat. This product can make dynamic forms, but you users may have upgrade their version of Reader.
