LiveCycle PDF's are truly different to general PDF files. If you want to merge them with other PDF-Files you can print them with a PDF printer into new files, but you will loose all the interactivity then.
If you don't want this, you can design a PDF Portfolio with Acrobat Pro.

In other words:

A PDF you design with LCD can either be static or dynamic.
The static ones are rendered as most of typical PDF's but do not have a lot of interactivity.
The dynamic ones are XML files surrounded by a PDF container, so Acrobat/Reader can open them.
But as they have a completly different structure from the static ones it is not possible to combine or merge them with such files.

So, if you need static and dynamic files in one file you can use a PDF-Portfolio or attach files to one existing PDF (static or dynamic).

For more information about PDF-Portfolios you can use the Tutorials section here on AUC or just play around with Acrobat's PDF-Portfolio wizard (File > Create PDF-Portfolio).

hello all,

I created a form in LiveCycle designer has some validation, using JavaScript, such as adding a row in the table.
When recording in static Adobe PDF format, when I open the acrobat pdf does not validate because you cannot read xml;
If you save as adobe dynamic xml form, validates, but as I send this pdf to a specific program, this program cannot read data because it turns PDF into a bitmap file, which continues as I precise text, because the program does type a document on the OCR to read the data.

1-is there any way to validate data without the aid of JavaScript seem?
2-is there any way to read even in JavaScript seem adobe static pdf?
3 - When you send the pdf to another software, it cannot read data with accent even though the same language in Portuguese in this software.
a. Is there any way to change the language in adobe acrobat pdf.

thanks
