Can anyone confirm that LiveCycle Designer ES (8.1) will run on Vista? I've checked the adobe.com and they state the requirements as being Microsoft Windows. That's very descriptive but I need to know specifically as I'm upgrading my workstation and need to know what OS I should install. I've also googled around a bit as well as searched this site to no definitive answer.
Also, this is slightly off-topic, but I'm wondering if Vista is worth getting. I generally work with macs but I use XP mainly for running LC Designer. I've heard a lot of discomforting stories of Vista generating constant network traffic for DRM or whatever purposes as well as the usual complaints of being unstable and incompatible w/ legacy apps. Vista's been out for awhile now and I would hope that some of these issues have been resolved. Thoughts? Yea? Nea? XP forever?
