make numeric field editable?

on Designer 7.o how do I make a numeric field with a formula editable? I mean if the number is rounded off to an unacceptable number I want to be able to enter it or change it manually.

Hi,

look into the value tab of the numeric field and change the type to "Calculated - User Can Override".
