Is it possible to make it so the drop down list I'm using in a form I'm building in lifecycle to be blank/empty as a default value instead of the first name in my list as it is now?

Review this PDF tutorial. It may help you do that with some modifications to the JavaScript.

I found out by working with the program that by simply hitting the spacebar as a new entry to a dropdown list you get a blank entry that can then be used as the default setting for the dropdown list giving me exactly what I needed which was a blank entry to a drop down list when not used.
