Making field required depending on previous responses

Greetings - I'm creating a form lin LiveCycle and need to make 2 fields (a Comment text field and a radio button "Resolution" field) dependent on whether the user selects the "Failed Inpection" option of a previous radio button group. These 2 fields would otherwise remain "optional". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to do something similar - I don't want users to be able to select a response on one form unless they have selected an earlier radio button, or I would like the earlier button to automatically be checked if they respond to the later form.
