I was able to click the preview PDF tab yesterday in LC and view the PDF version of the doccument I was working on. Today it's blank no matter how much I add to the design view. Any suggestions.

Have you recently reinstalled your OS? The Preview uses an ActiveX control that gets installed when Acrobat is installed. Could your OS be set up so that the ActiveX control cannot be installed?

If this is Windows 7, then there is a known issue with the Preview PDF tab as detailed in the LCD Readme. You'll need to open the PDF in Acrobat and/or Reader instead.

What Preview Type do you have selected? Is this a static or dynamic form?

I've tried both. I've even tried saving it as different types and reopenig them to see if that would work.

You might try repairing your Acrobat installation to see if it corrects the problem.

Hi Ikassuba

I wonder if you may be able to help me please!?

I have the same problem in Livecycle and cannot preview PDF's anymore I just get a blank page (It tries to open Reader with no success). It was OK yesterday!I run Win7

I have tried:

Form properties target version
Preview type (Static PDF Form)
Updating Acrobat
Repairing Acrobat
Allowing Active x in my security settings

When that happened to me, I saved and closed the form then opened it in Reader. Then I closed it and I went to View>Preview PDF and I got my tab back.
