Using LiveCycle Designer ES2 / Acrobat 9 can I change the image of the print button to a graphic of my choice? I have looked at the code behind the page and I can not see a way to do this.

Is it possible?

Thanks

Alan

Have you looked at putting a clear button over an image?

That doesn't seem to work. Do you mean on top of the graphic, place a print button.
Caption - remove text
Appearance - no border
Highlighting - none
Presence - Invisible
I can tell its there as I can see an orange border but when I preview PDP it doesn't work. Even making the button much bigger that the graphic doen't help.

Have you turned of the borders?

Click on the 'Border' tab and set all of the boders to 'None'.

Setting it to invisible won't work - you need to set the background fill to none.

You are correct setting it to invisible doesn't work. How do I set the background fill to none? I can work out how to change the background or foreground colour of a field but not a button.

I have a solution, after overlaying the image with the button and removing the caption, appearance, border and highlighting I went into the XML Source code and deleted the start, end controls and the color code.

It works but is there a more elegant solution?

Yes, on the Border palette set the Background Fill to None.

Many thanks, I'm new to LiveCycle and I'm still coming to grips with it.
