Problem with form email submission

I have created a form and added a button for it to be emailed back to us. Problem is I can send it to the recipient, but no one else can. They are saying they are sending it but it has not been delivered. I suspect a form problem rather than an email issue.

I am using Adobe 8 Pro and LiveCycle. It is set to deliver the form as an attachment to the email as a PDF.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi WayneH, I'm not entirely clear about what you're asking here, but I suspect it might be a similar problem to that of Selwyn in another post. This is the link to that post: http://www.acrobatusers.com/forums/aucbb/viewtopic.php?id=21670.

My reply is down the bottom (or it was when I typed this, who knows by the time you read it). Hopefully this might solve your problem.

I will try and re-do the button.

I am not sure this will solve the problem, as I am able to send to the recipient, bu the other people I am asking to use this form are not. We use this as a request for proposal from clients and they have not been able to email (or rather they think they are emailing it but it is not showing up!)

The right email address is showing up in the button, and people fill in the form and click the button, and it appears to send but we do not receive.

One other thing. I emailed the form as an attachment to people, could this be the issue?

Hi,

Are the Usage Rights in Adobe Reader enabled? Maybe this is your problem.

Open your form in Acrobat, go to Advanced and choose Enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader.

Remember to give the reader version a different name never overwrite your working copy.

Thank you for everyone's help and suggestions. Fixing the usage rights seemed to have done the trick!
