I am creating a form in Acrobat 8- using the form creator. My problem is that I want to create form text boxes that can auto-size or grow depending on how much content a user enters. As well when I enter data into the form and it exceeds the viewable area when I print it it gets cut off...can anyone help
If you're new to Designer, the process will be complicated and not too intuitive. You'll need help from several sources (a simple answer to your question is well beyond the scope of this forum).
First take a look at the sample files installed with your Acrobat installation in the Designer folder. You'll find a variety of sample forms and documentation.
Next, take a look at Adobe's Web site and review all the tips and techniques you find at: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/livecycle/.
Use the Help and online support menu commands in LiveCycle Designer (under the Help menu) to learn more.
You'll need to work with and create subforms and save your file as a dynamic PDF. Much of the how to for accomplishing what you want will be covered in the documents you can search on your hard disk and Adobe's Web site.
