Hi,
Is it possible for users who only have Adobe Reader 9 to fill out a form and save it?

I came across the paragraph below when I googled about forms, but I don't know if this pertains to Live Cycle Designer also.

"Let anyone fill in, sign, and save PDF forms
With Acrobat X Pro, you can collect data from virtually anyone who uses free Adobe Reader software. Users of Reader 9 or X can save local copies of the forms for their own records. Acrobat X Pro also lets you enable Reader 9 or X users to add an electronic signature to PDF forms."

Thanks

My Product Information:
LiveCycle Designer, Windows

Hi raprest,

If the PDF form is created in Acrobat or LiveCycle Designer, then you can add Usage Rights to the form that allows for fill and save in the free Adobe Reader. This is a feature in Acrobat so the rights can only be applied with the paid for Acrobat (which includes LiveCycle Designer).

Hope this helps,

Dimitri

Extending Usage Rights works on LiveCycle and Acrobat forms.

Didn't I say that? Sorry if it was not clear.
