i have a pdf, that i need the user to fill out and print, but i do not want them to be able to save the data they've entered.

so if they click save, it would only save a blank pdf form.

is it possible? how?

Thanks!

Yes, for one thing, if the form is viewed in Reader it requires special Rights to be able to save data in the first place. So just don't apply Reader Rights to the form. But if you want to make sure that users in Acrobat Pro don't save the form then you can reset the data on the "PreSave" event. This is pretty abnoxious, but it will work.

I think you may also be able to achieve this by using the LiveCycle ES Policy server. But its expensive and I'm not sure.
