Script for adding charges after a date has passed

Hi learned ones, I didnt expect to have to learn a new language with using adobe, but there you go little did I know. Excel is easy compared to attempting javascript, but I guess i have to start somewhere.
 
I have managed to muddle my way through to this point with the help of many posts on this forum.
 
I am now at a point where i want to introduce a SURCHARGE of 10% to a SUBTOTAL value if the ordering DATE deadline has passed (as this will incur additional charges by us). Needless to say I would want the form to calculate this if it knows the form is being completed after the predetermined date.

OK disregard this, I got it sorted by borrowing a couple of different snippets of code and creating one box to calculate the difference in days, and the box to apply the charge based upon the content of the previous result.
