"Submit by Email" in Novell Groupwise

I was recently exposed to Adobe LiveCycle Designer when I stumbled upon it while looking through CS3. It took me about 2 seconds to see the advantage of such a program. At present I am tasked with organizing training for about 1000 police officers in the RCMP. I wanted to send them a LiveCycle designed PDF form and have them return the XML data via the "Submit by Email" button. Within a few hours I had my form ready and tested. I sent it out to three candidates and learned they could not return the data via the send button. It took me only a minute to realize what the problem was. In my test environment my computer was allowed to access Outlook which acted as a front end to Novell Groupwise. In my live test with my three users, they do not have access to Outlook and must only rely on Novell Groupwise. In the Groupwise environment my email address looks like this: 000036979.DDIV_HQ.DDIV verses what you will see in external email name which is Chris [dot] Turner [at] rcmp-grc [dot] gc [dot] ca.

Now that I have disabled Outlook I receive the following error message when attempting to use the "Submit by Email" button:

"Either there is no default mail client of the current mail client cannot fulfill the message request. Please run Microsoft Office Outlook and set is as the default mail client."

Can you give me any suggestions as to what to do or where to look for the answer of how do I get this to work with Groupwise. Outlook is not an option.

My Product Information:
LiveCycle Designer, Windows

Thanks IKassuba

I followed the links to your suggeted suolution which suggest the fix as "Install the version of Windows Messenger provided with the GroupWise installation". I checked with our LAN people and they advise me we are using GroupWise 7 and the Windows Messenger is installbed by default.

Any other suggestions?

Here is a list to the Novell Website that might offer some help on your issue because it appears to be related to the Groupwise/browser integration:
