Suppress Submitt Button on Purple Bar

Hello

Is it possible to suppress the Submitt button that shows by default in Distributed Forms opened in Acrobat Reader ( on the purple bar ).

The reason for this is that I do not wish the users to send the form back to its creator, but to someone else. I can add a Submitt Button within the form, but two submitt buttons will just confuse users.

The alternative solution would be to change the default receipent of the form and send the whole PDF file and not the XML file

Any help would be appreciated.

Don't use the distribute forms function. Unfortunatley the distribute forms process is rather narrow. Unless you are using Acrobat.com for collecting data or need to use the tracker you don't really need it. But, since you want to send the form to someone else you can't be too worried about the tracker, and you're submitting by email so you don't need Acrobat.com. All you need to do is setup your submit button and then enable the form for reader rights.
