I'm creating a Performance Evaluation Form which uses weighted averages. Each objective has a percentage and a score. Can you help me with how to put a weighted average formula in the form?

FormCalc offers a function to calculate averages.

FormCalc script for calculate event of AverageField.

Avg(NumField1, NumField2, NumFiel3)

For example:

NumField1 = 2
NumField2 = 4
NumField3 = 3

AverageField = 3

Are you computing the Weighted Mean or do you want to apply a special weighting by objective?

For the Weighted Mean, you will need the mean for each objective the number of item in each objective and apply the formula.

For a custom weighting you use you weighting factor for each objective instead of the N of each objective to compute the weighted average.
