I have a LARGE amount of information that is required to be on all pages of a document. I have to get the font size down to about 4pt but the minimum from the footer formatting drop down box is 8. Possible to go smaller?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 7.1.4, Windows

Hi Todd,

It is not an option in the dropdown but if you type 4 into the box you should get the desired result. When you do that the Custom Setting and Save Settings will be active so you can reuse that setting later.

Hope this helps,

If you use the addWatermarkFromText method you can specify the font size, and it can be smaller than 8.

Unfortunately it does not allow me to enter a value in the selection box for font size. Maybe this is a feature of more current versions of Acrobat, but it doesn't appear to work w/ mine.

I just tried to add a watermark from text and it as well will not allow me to have a font less than 8 even if trying manual entry.

I'm talking about using a script to add the watermark, not the built-in Acrobat functionality.

Hi Todd,

It has been while since I used Acrobat 7 but I checked don another machine and Darn It! you are correct that the size box cannot be edited. It does work in Acrobat 8 but that's not much help for you if you don't have it. Try67's suggestion to use a script is about the only option then.
