Acrobat 7.1.4 Will not open web pdf pages

This problem developed after I switched from Windows XP to Windows 7. Example: At an online product site, click on an owner manual in pdf format, new page opens, screen just shows the address, says "Done" and shows a blank screen. Any thoughts on a solution?

Using Windows 7, you will have to upgrade to Acrobat 9.x and then (after install & activation) process all the updates.
(Acrobat 6, 7, and 8 are eligible for upgrades.)
Support for Windows 7 starts with Acrobat 9.2.
