Trying to figure out how to batch OCR a folder containing 88K tif files. All results point to previous versions. X is not allowing me to select even a 10th of that number using the standard menu item for multiple file OCR conversion.

Any help?

Thanks!
Brad

Can't you just select the folder itself, instead of the files in it?

Goes to circular busy arrow. Left for 3 hours. Machine is a 64bit Windows 7 box with 8G of memory. Generally a workhorse box.

Acrobat has a very bad memory handling system and tends to freeze up when processing large quantities of files.
I would suggest doing it in batches.
