Well, it opens the same pdf document on my login, but not my wife's login. This is on a machine with Windows 7 Pro. I deleted and reloaded Acrobat reader X and tried to repair it from the control panel. The only difference I can see, is I open the email on my login with gmail, and my wife is using Outlook 2007. Anyone have an idea?

If you've not already done so you may want to visit the 'Services @ Acrobat.com' forums and, perhaps, post there as well. Another resource is the related support page.

I found out that the default program that the computer chose to open a pdf was Microsoft Word. When I changed that to Adobe Acrobat, that solved the problem. It wasn't a problem with Adobe, after all. I recently changed the hard drive on this machine and replaced Vista with Windows 7.
