Acrodist.exe Application error

Hi,

I cannot print from Acrobat pro, nor will the Mocrosoft Office plugin to create PDFs work, either nothing happens or I get an error message saying acrodisk.exe "The application was unable to start correctly (0x0000005).

I also get this message when I reboot.

Acrobat Pro 9.3.4 Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

I am using Office 2007, and everything has worked fine for months, except (and I am not absolutely certain of this) that I suspect this problem began after the latest update to Acrobat.
