How do you add funcionality to .pdf documents? like links that take you to other pages within the .pdf or .swf files?

Acrobat Standard 9.0, Windows

Thanx for the reply but what I really wanted to know is do I need to implement the edits in another program (Like Dreamweaver or Flash) & then export it as a .pdf? Directly in Acrobat? Or should I code in Actionscript, Javascript, etc.....? If so what is the process?I'm looking for someone to point me in the right direction so I can take it from there..........
