Adobe 5.0 scanning defaults

I am using Acrobat 5.0. and an Epson RX500 Multiuse printer/scanner. The scanner does not have a sheet feeder, so if I have multiple pages to a document, I have to scan one at a time. When I import thru Acrobat, I have to change the scan settings for each page every time. Can I change the default settings so that I don't have to keep resetting them for each page
? In order to get a good scan for a black and white scan, I have to set the dpi to 300 and the brightness setting to -100, thats minus 100. I don't know whay that is buts its the only way I get a good readable scan. Thanks, Ron
