Hi all, nice to join the club,

currently evaluating Acrobat 8 Pro for my work place (don't know why, but management have insisted) and have come across a problem...

We have 1,000's of documents in mixed orientation format that is x pages portrait then y pages landscape, then some usually only z again in portrait.

Our problem is that while the portrait dissembles correctly the landscape dissembles as images only, the same is true when doing XML...

This is true whether tables or plain text is on the landscape page.

How do we dissemble mixed orientation documents correctly?

Thoughts appreciated.

Unfortunately the quality of using the export to Word capability is very dependent on how the original PDF was created. If the original PDF was tagged, then some of this information can be retained. You can try tagging the document to see if helps.
