Adobe Acrobat 6 Help Needed!

Hi,
My office uses Adobe Acrobat 6. We do business with a group that uses Acrobat 8. We are constantly emailing pdf's back and forth and utilizing them for various things. Whenever I receive a pdf from them and open it, I get the message that "this is a version of adobe my program may not support etc etc." I can open it but from that point it won't let me save, print, or change it in any way. I'm assuming this has to be because our office is using such an old version of Acrobat.

Does anyone know a way to get around this without our office having to update to Acrobat 8? Is there a way to convert the pdf's to a version that is usable for us?

Any help or direction on this matter would be so greatly appreciated, thanks!

The group with Acrobat 8 has to use the "File => Reduce File Size" (Standard) or "Advance => PDF Optimizer" (Professional or 3D) to make a PDF compatible with version 6 or other version level as needed. This will prevent the warning message about upgrading.
