There have been no responses on the Mars Forum (http://forums.adobe.com/community/labs/mars) for some time now, so I thought I'd better try else where for some help and advice...
 
- Will Adobe be continuing to support this plugin?
- Is a new plugin going to be release for Acrobat 10?
- Or will the Mars (PDFXML) support be continuing into the future and potentially be integrated into the product?

This is really the wrong place to post this question. You should be posting on the Acrobat SDK forum on the Adobe forums site.

I remember when Mars was the hot topic. Those times go by so quickly. New technology, big fanfare, lukewarm interest, further development ceases, but nothing is ever officially dropped, and eventually the technology becomes incompatible. I've seen it before.

I think Mars is dead. I thought it would be picked up big time for 3rd party PDF creation tools. XML PDF seems like it could easily become an open source standard. But I haven't heard anything on this topic for a couple years now:(
