How do i stop Adobe Professional 6 from downloading files automatically when i try to open a PDF file from a website. I will prefer to open the file and read with Adobe reader instead of downloading it to my computer. Thank you

That depends on your browser. Some can view a PDF file inline, and some can't using the PDF Viewer plug-in. IE and Safari can, but I believe FireFox can't. Under the help menu look for Repair installation or something like that (I am using 8, and it has been a long while since I used 6). That should add the PDF viewer plug in to any browser that supports it.
