Many times when I am emailed a pdf I am seeing Adobe Sans MM substituted for Times New Roman. This occurs, I think, when the pdf has originated from Word 2007. Times New Roman is installed on my Windows 7 box and available for use.
 
This font substitution happens when I display the pdf in Acrobat 8.3.1 Professional but not in Reader 9.4.6.
 
What are my options for displaying the pdf in as the author intended in Acrobat?
