Auto-copy of text in Illustrator? How?

I'm making labels and I want to just input text once and it is automatically copied to various parts/sections of that label, in different fonts and sizes if possible. I don't want to have to type each and every label and format each one everytime I do this. Is there an automated way to do this?

Like if it were done in MS Excel, typing in text in Cell A1 would also automatically show that text in Cell B1, but in a different format/font/size.

I would do this in Excel but Excel does not allow me to "invert" my text, only allows me to rotate 90 degrees either way.

I hope I've explained my situation properly. Thanks in advance for the help!

Sorry if this is only for Acrobat, but I'm hoping some of you use Illustrator as well. Pointing me to a proper forum for Illustrator would be appreciated as well.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 9.1.1, Windows
