Auto Page number

Is there a way to get Acrobat 8 Pro to automatically re-number the page numbers in the header/footer when a page is added or deleted?

Thanks for any help.

Acrobat Pro 8.0, Windows

After adding or deleting pages, you may update the page numbers:
Documents > Header & Footer > Updates > "OK"The pages will be re-numbered automatically.
