We are currently using Adobe Acrobat Professional (9) to create and deploy both simple electronic forms and also PDF packages for upload to our servers. Our end-users are currently using Acrobat Reader 9 to access these files. We will soon be forced to adopt an externally provided system which will only provide Adobe Acrobat 7.
My initial questions are: What effect will the downgrade of the Acrobat software have in relation to our current processes? - What functionality will we lose in regard to our electronic forms and more importantly are the PDF packages able to be viewed?
For Forms created with LiveCycle Designer, fully updated version 5 or better. But there are many script actions that have additional version requirements.
