Books panel for exporting separate pdf files

Hi everyone,

I have a number of chapter files in the books panel as part of a document I'm working on. I know that if I select all of the files and export to pdf from the books panel I get a single pdf made up of all the selected files.

I wondered if it was possible to select all the files and have a separate pdf document created for each of the different files, so if I select 10 files in the books panel, I'd get 10 pdf documents.

Appreciate any advice.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.3.1, Macintosh

It make me notice that it is still a hard work to split PDF files into many smaller ones using Acrobat Pro. The better way is to use PDF Splitter. By searching on google "split PDF on mac" and it may helps.

I will try my best to help you in PDF converison fields, objectively and Neutral.

Hello gwh,

As Acrobat has no "Books" I suspect you are alluding to InDesign or, perhaps FrameMaker.
If InDesign, you may obtain more responses pertinent to your question at Adobe's InDesign U2U Forums.

fwiw - over in LiveDocs for InDesign Help –

Quote:
You can export a document, a book, or selected documents in a book as a single PDF file.
As to FrameMaker, yes, files within a Book can be processed out individually to PDF.

Oh yeah - how stupid of me. Don't know why I'm posting in an Acrobat forum when it's Indesign related. Thanks for letting me know.
