colour on which pages?

So I might better understand - walk me through an example.

Is it like this - 20 page PDF file, open in Acrobat - then, using some tool - either create bookmarks on any page that has 'a color figure' (need to be much more specific on 'what' a color figure "is" (image, graphic, object(s)) and perhaps how the PDF was "made" and what "color space" that PDF is in (1 bit, 8 bit, 24 or 32 bit?)

Also, when you are done - what do you want the result to be ? A new Bookemarked PDF, a set of extracted pages, and exported log file that reports what pages have these "color figures" on - or a new PDF that is comprised of ONLY the color pages ?

What do you need to do exactly ?
