We need to merge a large number of hyperlinked linked documents. To keep things simple lets talk about merging just 2.
Document A has a link to Document B. We are merging A and B into C. We would like that link in the new C to go from C(oldAportion) to C(oldBportion). Is there a way to do this?
We have Acrobat X Professional. When we try it, the link at C(oldAportion) goes to Document B instead. So if we send the new merged C document to someone, the link will be broken. Our customer requires we give them a single docuement.

It can't be done in Acrobat, because while you can create *new* links with scripting, there's no way to find out what the *old* link points to.

Do you know of any plug-in or third party product that can do automate this. We have hundreds of links.
Should have been built that way in the first place, but it was not clear until the first delivery on a CD.
