Copying tables from Acrobat

I am using Acrobat 8 Professional.

I am trying to copy the content of the table on p4 of this PDF to use in Quark: http://www.marketingpower.com/content/honointl25.pdf

I have tried using the select tool to invoke Open Table in Spreadsheet but this is not available. I have tried Text Wrangler, Mellel and Text Edit and have had to resort instead to Word: pasting the plain text for one column at a time scraped from the table, tapping through inserting line breaks, Convert Text to Table for each column, assembling a new table from all the columns.

Is it possible instead either to copy the Acrobat content more intelligently or to use a destination application more sensibly?

Checked out the linked page and it copied fine for me into spreadsheet using Adobe Reader 8.1.0. You may need to make sure Excel macro security is set to medium, to allow Adobe to work with it. Looks like the source file was Quark. Did this help?
