Creating three company manuals (operations, HR, and a software manual) which I would like linked within themselves as well as with each other. looking at purchasing Acrobat Standard or Acrobat Pro and am wondering if you can link seperate pdfs to each other? A few people I talked to stated that you cannot do this.

You can link to other pdfs using the link tool. For longevity you are better off linking to a named destination within the target pdf in case the target document changes with the addition or deletion of pages.
