Hello,

not sure if this has been addressed in a previous post...

Does anyone know if it is possible to add hyperlinks in a PDF document using Adobe Acrobat Pro Extended 9?

I have a PDF document with around 200 pages, and would like to create a hyperlink at the bottom of each page that will return the reader to the 'Table of Contents' page.

Does Acrobat allow you create hyperlinks in a PDF document and how would I go about creating these? Also do I have to add each hyperlink one by one or can it be done for all 200 at once?

Anybody out there who can help answer my question?

Thanks in advance
Christina

Some options -
You can use the link tool to create a link back to the TOC at each page.

You can create a button field and select the action that returns one to the TOC.
This first button field can be propogated to all subsequent pages.
With the button field in focus, right click to access the context menu.
Look over the options. Use the one that duplicates the field.

Or
Try a single bookmark. With Bookmarks open in the Navigation Pane you
click this bookmark that returns you to the TOC.

Thanks daka630 for your detailed answer,

I am specifically after instructions on how to create a hyperlink at the base of each page which will lead the reader back to the first page. I think that the link, button and bookmarking ideas are different to processes to this...do you know how I may create hyperlinks?
