I have used the TouchUp Object tool to delete an object (using Acrobat Professional 8.0).
How do I crop an object in a PDF file using Acrobat Professional 8.0?
I am aware that there is a crop tool to crop a page. How do I crop an object or graphic just like one normally does with Illustrator or PhotoShop?
I know that Adobe has clearly stated that Acrobat Professional 8.0 does NOT work like most graphical applications such as Illustrator, Visio, or Paint Shop Pro. Due to mitigating circumstances, I am forced to stretch the limits of Acrobat Professional 8.0.
When I use the TouchUp Object tool to crop an object, it crops sections of the object beyond the boundaries of the blue rectangle i.e. beyond the specified section that I selected. Is there a trick to cropping a specific section of an object?
Your help will be highly appreciated.

There are a couple of workarounds. The best thing to do is to open the image in an editing program (eg: Photoshop) and perform the crop there.
You could use the Snapshot tool, select the area you want to use with the tool and paste it to the clipboard, then paste it back to the page. You'll have to remove the original image.
Draw a text box comment over the area you want to conceal, in the properties, deselect any border, and use the same color as the rest of your document. Flatten the comments and you have essentially masked out the content.
