disable progressive download on images when reading PDF?

I have downloaded a magazine in PDF. After resaving and deleted a few pages, the text and images show up as fuzzy and graduately become clear after ~0.5 seconds. I find it annoying and wonder if there is a setting somewhere that I can turn it off. Before modificatioin, pages are displayed in clear mode right away.

Thanks for the help,

BTW, is this forum originated from the Acrobat forum at Adobe site? I linked from there but wonder where did the old one go?

This is part of the functionality of Fast Web View which restructures a document for page-at-a-time downloading from web servers. You probably set this when you did a Save As. You can modify the setting under Edit --> Preferences --> Documents uncheck the Save As optimizes for Fast Web View box. This forum didn't originate from the Acrobat.com forum, which is still at:

Thanks for the help. I tried that but the specific document still has the same behavior (I resaved the same file). Before making the changes, it displayed clear image right away without changing the settings in the preference.
