I would like to embed a watermark in a PDF that is actually pulled from the Internet such as: http://www.mysite.com/images/watermark.png.

Is there a way to do this so that the PDF document will pull a copy of the image down to the desktop dynamically, assuming the person opening the form in Adobe Reader has an active Internet connection? I would like to be able to change the watermark over time without forcing my users to download new PDFs.

Any suggestions?

It's not possible. Watemarks in Acrobat (and hence in Reader) can only contain static content.
