How can I edit a PDF in Acrobat 9 Pro Extended that was sent to me? Is there a tutorial for this?
I would just like to get started for now, but would also like the tutorial.

Thank you
Dee

Hi Dee,
Actually, Acrobat's Help file is really a rather good tutorial; and it is free .
Aside from the Help packaged with Acrobat you also can visit Live Docs for Acrobat.
If you have other Adobe products a start point is
Help Resource Center.
Live Docs for Acrobat 9 Pro Extended is at:
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Acrobat/9.0/3D
You can download the Help PDF from this page.

Various tools are available for edits to a PDF. These are discussed in the Help.

To view the full population of tools select
Tools > Customize Toolbars...
The More Tools dialog opens.

The Touchup Text Tool is often used for "touchup edits".
(*touchup* is the operative word as PDFs are not word processing files and cannot be edited in the familiar sense of editing in Word, Word Perfect, etc.)

You can use the various tools to identify/record your observations on a PDF.
PDF is not a file format that facilitates significant content edit/manipulation.
So, providing the these observations to the content author facilitates the actual editing of the PDF's
authoring file.
