Hi,

This is probably an odd or stupid question.....BUT...

I've got a problem with a certain email address link in my pdf document.

I've used InDesign CS2 to create the layout and printed a .ps file and distilled it. All is well except for this one email address...

rflury [at] domain-name [dot] com

it comes up as "ury [at] domain-name [dot] com". IS there something that can be done to correct this? It's as if there is a space between the "l" and the "u" in the email address. I copied it from the pdf and pasted into TEXT EDIT, and sure enough there is a space. There is no space in my InDesign file, and there certainly appears to be no space in the pdf that was created.

Any ideas? Please help!!!!!

Thanks in advance!

Try Exporting to PDF first and copy and paste the text somewhere else in the document to see if it’s related to the placement or the actual text. Also, you can turn on hidden characters to see if there’s an odd space or character involved, and lastly turn on overprint preview to rule out some form of transparency – if it disappears with overprint preview then it’s a transparency or overprint isssue.
