When I install adobe acrobat pro 6.0 I get an error message of acrodist.exe I am very confused as I just bought the program and need it for work as my old computer took its own life. I got a new computer and I cannot get pro 6.0 to install. Help!

What operating system?

You need version 8 or 9 for Windows Vista.

I am picking up this thread. I am getting the same error message trying to re-install Acrobat 6.0 Standard. XP Pro with Admin privledges

Have you tried to remove any remnants using Windows Clean up utility?
