Excel 2007 Quality Problem with Acrobat 8.1.2

Trying to convert a simple invoice form Excel 2007 but the quality is just simply unacceptable.

The boaders lines are thick and discontinued and the color is off. Fonts are much thicker as in they're bolded in Excel. Basically the whole page looks funny. Not trying to be picky but the result is unacceptable.

Can anyone tell me if there're any settings I need to change? Thanks.

Have you tried to select to create a quick and easy PDF instead of the normal option in the PDFMaker macro?

Thanks for the response. I'm a dummy PDF user and don't know the difference between the two.

I've tried right-clicking on the Excel file and choosing "Convert to Adobe PDF", printing to the "Adobe printer", as well as going to the "Creating PDF" option in Excel. They all provide the same results.

Am I doing anything wrong?

Too bad there's no picture posting on this forum or else I could show you what it looks like.

Try setting the print quality to 600 dpi under the Page Setup menu in Excel for each worksheet.
