i have scanned a 20 page catalogue. each page contains images on top and three two column tables. i have made OCR regognition and i am trying to export the document. i would like to ask if i can export the file in excel and if not what is xml. moreover when i export in word i get only 3 pages out of 20 and word document fails to open all pages.

Make sure you select Clearscan (only available in Acrobat 9) in the Recognize Text Setting menu when you OCR. This will allow you to utilize the Touch Up Text tool to make changes to the document. However, note that you'll need to change the font from the custom fonts to a font that is available on your computer.

To export to Excel under the File > Save As menu in Acrobat 9, there is an option to Save as Type: "Tables in Excel Spreadsheet (*.xml)". This will help you export to Excel.
