Exporting measuring markup to excel

I use acrobat to measeure areas and then send it to excel to tally the different areas. The problem i am running into is the information is not be sent over. In the excel page the numbers seem random, they are not the same as what i had measeured. For example if i have and area that is 1256.22 square feet it is going to excel as 111111. Thanks for the help

How are you exporting this data, exactly?

With the measuring tool box open go to options and choose Export measurment markup to Excel...
