"File" "Attach to Email" does not work in Reader 8.1.1

Whenever I try to attach the PDF I am viewing to an e-mail (Outlook 2003), nothing happens. The hourglass appears for a split second, but then nothing. I have Outlook open while I'm trying to do this. I actually just tried it again just now with Outlook closed, and the same thing happened. I do not get any error messages.

I work in User Support (helpdesk) at a law firm so any technical (or non) solutions anyone might have would be welcome.

I'm running on XP, if that makes a difference.

I think it might be a good idea to run a registry checker programs for possible errors. In my experience that usually clears up this type of problem. If it still persists after you do that; you might want to uninstall/reinstall Acrobat.

And while you are at it; make sure your Operating System and Office updates are current.

Acrobat is probably the program I use most often and I'm learning more every day.
