filename[1].pdf

I use acrobat 7 pro. Lately whenever I open a file I receive in an email or find on the net, the file opens with a [1]added to the end of the actual file name (before the .pdf).
 
How can I stop this?

Do you already have files with the same name saved in the same location you're saving the downloaded files to?

Also see if it happens with a different browser/e-mail client.
